Course Details
The aim of this course is to provide a fundamental understanding of how to inject sealant / grease and the important safety factors involved in deciding where and when to inject sealant / grease.
Each candidate will understand the basic principles of sealant and grease injection and identify where they can be used. Particular focus will be on potential health, safety and environmental hazards directly related to the equipment enabling the candidates to control any associated risks.
This course will provide a good team building session for any group and help build customer / client relations. We also anticipate that further training opportunities may be discovered resulting from the course.

Course Objectives
- List basic valve types that may benefit from sealant and grease injection
- State the various types of media used and the advantages of each
- Describe the sealant / grease injection process
- Inject sealant / grease into equipment safely
- Identify the different types of equipment used and how to inspect it
- State common defects
- Identify potential problems that may cause loss of production or situations with
safety implementations
