Course Details
The aim of this course is to provide a fundamental understanding of pressure testing and pressure in general focusing on the safety factors involved.
Each candidate will appreciate how the equipment required when pressure testing works and the steps involved with inspecting the equipment prior to use to ensure a safe effective test is carried out.
This course will provide a good team building session for any group and help build customer / client relations. We also anticipate that further training opportunities may be discovered resulting from the course.

Course Objectives
- Identify different basic pressure testing equipment and its use
- Familiarise with common test specifications
- Identify types of test and the reasons for each
- Describe the test procedure for various equipment types
- Define what pressure is
- Operate test equipment and controls
- Carry out pressure test to specification on equipment that has met the correct standard
- Identify potential hazards and how they can be minimised or eliminated
