Course Details
The aim of the course is to give a basic introduction to piping systems. Each candidate will participate in the design of a simple power station system. To complete this system the candidates will learn about Piping standards, pipe schedules and connection types as well as other aspects of piping systems. Also the candidate will know the different types of corrosion and erosion that can affect piping systems.
This course will provide a good team building session for any group and help build customer / client relations. We also anticipate that further training opportunities may be discovered resulting from the course.

Course Objectives
- Identify Key standards associated to piping systems (ASME, ANSI,API)
- Know Piping selection considerations and pipe schedules
- Identify different pipe joining mechanisms
- Identify different pipe flanges and there application
- Will be able to read and understand piping and instrument diagrams
- Identify different erosion and corrosions
