Course Details
The aim of this course is to provide a fundamental understanding of valves and associated valve equipment in relation to basic design, function and non-invasive maintenance solutions for specific valve types.

Each candidate will appreciate how various valves function and be aware of potential health, safety and environmental hazards directly related to the equipment enabling the candidates to control any associated risks.

This course will provide a good team building session for any group and help build customer / client relations. We also anticipate that further training opportunities may be discovered resulting from the course.
Course Objectives
  • Identify different valve types and their basic design function
  • Carry out safe working practices with regards to non-invasive maintenance routines for specific valve types and associated equipment
  • Describe what non-invasive maintenance is and identify when non-invasive becomes invasive
  • Identify potential problems that may cause loss of production or situations with safety implementations
