Course Details
The aim of this course is to provide a fundamental understanding of manual handling techniques, ergonomic lifting, applicable legislation and the purpose of risk assessments.
Each candidate will understand the basic legislative requirements for themselves and their employers. Particular focus will be on potential health and safety hazards directly related to manual handling operations enabling the candidates to control any associated risks.
This course will provide a good basis for use both at work and in the home to safeguard people from suffering health problems through incorrect manual handling techniques.
