Course Details
The aim of this course is to provide a fundamental understanding of how Butterfly valves work, the functions they perform, their limitations, their advantages and disadvantages.

Each candidate will understand the basic design principles of the various valve obturators (discs), identify component parts, and be able to visually identify valve operator types.

Focus will also be on potential health, safety and environmental hazards directly related to the equipment, enabling the candidates to control any associated risks.
